Solène is a French artist with whom I had the pleasure of working, as she participated in the exhibition I was the Art Director and Curator of: “Echoes of the Unseen: A Sensory Experience.“
The exhibition project involved pairing a suggested cocktail with each artwork, integrating the sense of taste as an element of understanding and creating an immersive experience.
Solène and I’ll definitely work together again in the future, having found a remarkable synergy.
SOLÈNE’S ARTIST STATEMENT:
Solène Tartivelle explores the profound interconnection between humanity and nature through colored inks and soft pastels on paper. Viewing nature as both subject and collaborator, she draws inspiration from its forms, patterns, and energies. Her mixed-media approach embraces spontaneity, mirroring the organic, unpredictable bond we share with the natural world. Through layered, dynamic surfaces, she invites reflection on our fragile yet beautiful coexistence with nature.
